The Financial Planning & Analysis Team supports LeadVenture's growth in a fast-paced environment. This role involves being on the front lines of a major investment in new accounting systems and processes to scale the back office with the business. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, developing financial models, creating monthly forecasts, assisting with annual budgets, summarizing COGS and operating expenses, preparing reports, presenting analysis, ensuring data accuracy, providing financial modeling assistance for M&A activity, conducting ad-hoc financial analysis, communicating conclusions to stakeholders, and streamlining processes for efficiency.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • At least 4 years of business experience, with a focus in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience presenting to senior managers, including C-level executives
  • Ability to manage and analyze large data sets
  • Proven experience developing financial models
  • Adeptness with reporting financial data concisely
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Independent worker and analytical thinker
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
Good to have:
  • SaaS experience is a strong plus

The Financial Planning & Analysis Team supports the growth and fast-7paced environment of LeadVenture. We are looking for a go-getter willing to take on any challenge thrown at them. This role will be on the front lines of a major investment of new accounting systems and processes to build the ability for the back office to scale with the business. We are only looking for candidates in the Pacific time zone, preferably near our corporate HQ in the Portland area.
 
We are only accepting candidates for this role located in the following states:
Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming.
 
Here is more of what you’ll get to do:
  • Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support
  • Develop monthly forecast models and assist in the development of the annual operating budget
  • Assemble and summarize COGS and operating expense data, prepare reports, present analysis, and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Develop and provide monthly/quarterly reporting for the executive team, analyzing financial results and performance to budget plan and forecast
  • Provide financial modeling assistance for potential M&A activity
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist senior management in driving business performance
  • Clearly communicate conclusions, analytical findings, and value-added information to internal stakeholders
  • Proactively seek and streamline processes to add efficiencies
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Independent worker and analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • SaaS experience a strong plus
