Senior Full-Stack Developer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining a cutting-edge iGaming platform. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing both front-end and back-end components, ensuring a smooth, high-performing, and scalable product experience.

This is a senior position for a developer who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys end-to-end ownership of features, and brings architectural insight to technical decisions.

Please note: you must have at least 8+ years of hands-on experience as a full-stack developer to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel) and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver user-focused solutions for both player-facing and admin-facing systems.
• Build, integrate, and maintain APIs, services, and third-party SDKs related to iGaming functionalities.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability across the full stack.
• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical mentorship for junior developers.
• Contribute to deployment and CI/CD practices, ensuring smooth releases and fast issue resolution.
• Implement best practices in security, data integrity, and system reliability.

EXPERIENCE

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a full-stack developer.
• Proven experience with Laravel and TypeScript in production environments.
• Strong expertise in PHP (7+ or 8+) and Laravel framework.
• Prior experience in iGaming, casino, or high-traffic consumer platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Experience with queueing systems, caching, and session management.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Familiarity with responsive UI design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and building automation tools.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
