Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Assist Chat

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for Assist Chat, their next-gen conversational AI for public safety. This role involves building and maintaining core features across frontend (Angular/TypeScript) and backend (Node/GraphQL/REST) systems, designing real-time, AI-driven APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will contribute to architecture, technical design, and code reviews, owning the development lifecycle from dev to prod, focusing on scalable, secure, and performant systems.

Must Have

• Build and maintain core features across both frontend (Angular/TypeScript) and backend (Node/GraphQL/REST) systems.
• Design APIs and services that support real-time, AI-driven conversations.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer.

• A product mindset—able to think beyond tickets and code.
• Clear communication and a collaborative spirit.

Assist Chat is Motorola’s next-gen conversational AI for public safety—helping 9-1-1 call takers, dispatchers, analysts, and officers get answers in seconds, not minutes. It’s fast, reliable, embedded in real workflows, and powered by real-time AI.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll work across frontend and backend layers to build seamless user experiences and robust APIs. You’ll help craft the conversational engine, integrate with mission-critical systems, and continuously improve how public safety professionals interact with Assist.
