Job Summary
The Senior Institutional Business Development Manager, APAC will be responsible for identifying and driving institutional sales opportunities in the ASEAN region. This includes building a healthy pipeline by sourcing and converting prospective opportunities, developing client profiles, defining new revenue streams, and closing high-value deals. The role also requires ensuring prospects or new clients are in good standing with OKX and articulating client feedback to senior management. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of local crypto regulations and experience developing partnerships with traditional finance clients and institutions. The candidate should have a strong focus on achieving results and driving business growth. They should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships at all levels and be adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
Must Have
- Experience in crypto sales, ideally on another exchange.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of local crypto regulations.
- Proven record of developing partnerships with traditional finance clients.

About the Opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and drive institutional sales opportunities in the ASEAN region. Build a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities from consulting, educating, planning to advisory with institutional clients.
- Develop client profiling - identify previous success cases and develop them into viable, replicable efforts to repeat success and where marketing efforts should be channelled.
- Define and evaluate new revenue streams and opportunities with existing or new clients.
- Close sales opportunities with particular focus on high revenue, high impact value deals.
- Ensure prospects or new clients are good standing and will not introduce risk to the OKX business, be it financial reputation, regulatory or others.
- Articulate client feedback and gaps in service/product offerings to senior management teams and product related teams with suggested proposals.
What We Look For In You
- Experienced sales professional with in-depth knowledge of local crypto regulations and proven record of developing and managing partnerships with traditional finance clients and institutions.
- Demonstrated strong stakeholder management ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Extensive knowledge in products that we offer for institutional clients (Block Trading, Derivatives such as Perps/Futures/Options/Margin, Cash OTC)
- Prior experience in crypto sales experience, ideally on another exchange platform
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on achieving results and driving business growth.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with a passion for business development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships at all levels.
