Job Summary
Bohemia Interactive, a leading Czech game studio, is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist. This role involves providing L1 technical support to end-users, managing hardware and software, and maintaining IT infrastructure. The specialist will handle incident resolution, asset management, user account administration, and collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth technological operations for the company's 550+ employees.
Must Have
- Provide L1 technical support for hardware, software, and licenses.
- Install and manage end-user devices.
- Log and resolve requests and incidents in Jira.
- Administer user accounts, groups, and devices in Active Directory.
- Administer Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Maintain IT asset records.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Native Czech speaker and English B2 level.
- Possess a Category B driving license.
- Knowledge of basic IT processes (Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management).
Good to Have
- Knowledge of macOS or Linux.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Slack tools.

Job Description
Bohemia Interactive has been operating in the market since 1999, and our most famous titles include Arma, DayZ, and Operation Flashpoint. Our company currently has over 550 employees, more than half of whom are developers. An integral part of independent game development is the support from IT specialists, proper infrastructure setup, and perfectly secured technological background for the company.
Main tasks
- Providing L1 technical support to end-users – HW, SW, licenses
- Installation and management of end-user devices
- Logging and resolving requests and incidents in the Jira ticketing system
- IT asset management
- Training end-users in using standard PC software (Microsoft365, Slack, etc.)
- Physical installation of HW in data centers and server rooms
- Management of user accounts, groups, and devices in Active Directory
- Support for onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation and user manuals
- Collaboration with other IT team members and other departments across the company
- Regular visits to our branches in Prague and Mnisek pod Brdy (with a company car)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Language skills: Czech – native speaker, English – B2 level (support for colleagues, writing manuals, documentation, etc.)
- Effective communication skills, responsibility, independence
- Category B driving license
Technical knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of standard PC hardware
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration
- Operating system administration: Windows 10, Windows 11 (knowledge of macOS or Linux is an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of networks
- Knowledge of basic IT processes (Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, etc.)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Slack tools is an advantage
