We are building the next-generation game backend services platform and seeking a senior software developer to lead this effort. The ideal candidate will find the best solutions and collaborate with clients and the infrastructure team to create state-of-the-art products for our games. You will be part of a cross-functional agile team developing enterprise-level technology solutions using cutting-edge cloud technologies that handle billions of requests daily for millions of players across numerous games. Responsibilities include development, deployment, support, and maintenance of services for Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure, such as multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, and social networks. Key roles include being a technical point of contact and mentor, designing and developing scalable, resilient, and highly available services with a focus on quality, security, and cost efficiency, participating in all product development stages, and researching new technologies.

We are focused on building the next-generation game backend services platform and we are looking for a dedicated, talented and passionate senior software developer to play a leading role in this endeavor.

We are looking for a motivated senior software developer that can and will find the best solutions. He or she will work closely with our clients and the infrastructure team to create state of the art products for our games.

You will help create and be part of a cross-functional, cross-studio agile development team creating innovative enterprise-level technology solutions. You will be working with state-of-the-art cloud technologies that manage over 10 billion requests per day from over 20 million active players across over 100 games.

You will be in charge of development, deployment, support and maintenance of services that support Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure: multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, social networks and many more.

Responsibilities:

Play a key role in a team of high-skilled developers and devops;
Act as a mentor and a technical point of contact for the team;
Design and develop distributed, scalable, resilient, highly available services and systems with a focus on quality, security and cost efficiency;
Be involved in all the product development and delivery stages;
Research and prototype on various technologies useful for the project;
Keep in touch with the latest trends in the industry.
