As a Senior Lighting Artist, your primary responsibility is to enhance the visual and atmospheric appeal of the game through lighting solutions. You will collaborate with the Lead Artist to understand the artistic vision and mood conveyed by the concept art, analyzing and deconstructing it to effectively express emotions in characters and scenes. Based on the planning requirements for the user's flow experience, you'll design lighting atmosphere drafts for scenes and characters. You will also utilize the engine's lighting components to achieve the desired in-game effects, including character representation, timeline animations, and both indoor and outdoor environments. Furthermore, you will work with TA and 3D departments to establish lighting usage, values, colors, and performance standards, collaborating with various departments to refine and maintain the lighting toolchain. You will manage and maintain the production rules and stability of lighting, fog effects, and post-processing. Finally, you will manage the scheduling of lighting needs from all parties, efficiently and effectively completing project milestones.
