Job Description

Wizards of the Coast is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to lead digital licensing, drive growth, and execute business plans across Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast’s digital games portfolio. This role involves defining strategic programs, leading engagement with emerging platforms like Roblox and UEFN, integrating across various teams, and shaping the long-range roadmap for digital gaming. The manager will also represent the team in high-level partner engagements and build strong working relationships.

  • Lead Hasbro’s strategy for engaging with UGC platforms, new distribution models, and next-gen digital ecosystems.
  • Act as a strategic integrator across Brand, Studios, Licensing, Legal, and Commercial teams.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to define investment priorities and shape the long-range roadmap.
  • Represent the Digital Licensing team in high-level partner engagements and strategic negotiations.
  • Lead day-to-day business communications with emerging platform partners.
  • Work cross-functionally supporting development and lifecycle management of games and content.
  • 7+ years of platform strategy, product management, production, and/or platform experience.
  • Experience leading time-sensitive projects in a cross-functional organization.
  • Licensing and branding experience with a track record of successful releases.
  • Natural verbal and written communicator, able to present findings at all seniority levels.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work with multiple clients effectively.

We are seeking a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving long-term growth, business planning, and cross-functional execution across a digital games portfolio. Reporting to the head of Digital Licensing and Partnerships, this pivotal role utilizes extensive industry experience and insights to shape our approach with emerging platforms, pitch reviews and franchise development across a vast catalog of IP.

What You Will Do:

We want the successful applicant to be proactive in their approach, whatever the situation:

  • Define and drive execution of high-priority strategic programs that unlock new growth opportunities, partnership models, or operating capabilities. Act as an entrepreneurial force within the organization—conducting primary research, developing financial models, initiating external outreach, and building early momentum behind ideas to move initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Lead the strategy for engaging with UGC platforms, new distribution models, and next-gen digital ecosystems. Develop internal POVs, identify key partners, and oversee go-to-market plans for branded experiences in fast-evolving spaces like Roblox, UEFN and Discord.
  • Act as a strategic integrator across Brand, Studios, Licensing, Legal, and Commercial teams. Align teams around shared priorities, unlock resources, and ensure forward momentum on complex, high-impact initiatives.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to define investment priorities, identify capability gaps, and shape the long-range roadmap for the digital gaming business.
  • Represent the Digital Licensing team in high-level partner engagements, strategic negotiations, and industry forums. Build trusted relationships that position the company as a forward-thinking leader within the global gaming ecosystem.
  • Lead the day-to-day business communications with emerging platform partners, building strong working relationships with their account managers
  • Work cross-functionally across various teams (i.e. Business Development, Production, Franchise, Studios, Marketing, Publishing, etc.) supporting the development and lifecycle management of a wide variety of games and content

What You Will Bring:

  • 7+ years of platform strategy, product management, production, and/or platform experience with tangible go-to-market results
  • Experience leading time-sensitive projects in a cross-functional organization, working with a wide range of internal and external partners of varying seniority and technical expertise
  • Licensing and branding experience with a track record of successful releases and implementations
  • A natural verbal and written communicator with the ability to present findings at all seniority levels across the organization
  • A team player with the ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work with multiple clients, effectively and simultaneously

The base salary range for this position is $122,300.00 to $228,100.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
