Job Description

Reporting to the Development Manager II, Finance Systems, this role is for a technical expert responsible for developing integrations and extensions within Oracle Fusion Cloud. The specialist will collaborate with various teams to assess and deliver Oracle ERP enhancements, projects, and support, managing project and change request enhancements across critical ERP processes like Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C). The position is based onsite in India.
Must Have:
  • Build and manage inbound/outbound integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Develop Oracle Cloud ERP extensions using PaaS, Oracle Autonomous Database, and APEX.
  • Create bulk data flows, FBDI-based integrations, and manage data migrations.
  • Implement validation, error handling, and data transformation rules for integrations.
  • Utilize FBDI, REST, SOAP APIs, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL for scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams for testing, documentation, and system connectivity via APIs.
  • Identify process gaps and adopt platform updates for continuous service improvement.
  • Actively participate in Oracle Fusion quarterly upgrades, ensuring stability.
  • Uphold high code standards, conduct unit testing, and meet delivery timelines.
  • Minimum 4+ years experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development.
  • Expertise in OIC, Oracle Autonomous Database, and APEX Tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of FBDI, REST API, SOAP Web Services of Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including complex query writing.
  • Understanding of Web services and API technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XSD/XSLT).
  • Experience with configuration management tools like SVN and GitLab.
  • Work experience developing SaaS extensions using VBCS.

Get to know the Role:

Reporting to the Development Manager II, Finance Systems, you will be an important technical expert, responsible for developing integrations and extensions within Oracle Fusion Cloud. Your role will involve close collaboration with different teams to assess and deliver Oracle ERP enhancements, projects, and support. You'll help manage project and change request enhancements across critical ERP processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).

You will be based in India and onsite.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform:

  • Integration Development: Build and manage inbound/outbound integrations between Oracle ERP Cloud and external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), covering cloud, on-prem, and event-driven integrations.
  • Extension Development: Design, Develop Oracle Cloud ERP extensions using PaaS, Oracle Autonomous Database, and APEX.
  • Data Management: Create bulk data flows, FBDI-based integrations, and manage end-to-end data migrations with error handling and callback mechanisms.
  • Data Quality & Integrity: Implement validation, error handling, and data transformation rules to ensure reliable, high-quality integrations.
  • Technical Expertise: Use experience with FBDI, REST, SOAP APIs, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL to provide scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Collaboration & Support: Partner across teams for testing (integration, UAT), documentation, and system connectivity through APIs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps, data management enhancements, and adopt relevant platform updates to improve services for all users.
  • System Upgrades: Play an active role in Oracle Fusion quarterly upgrades, ensuring stability and understanding of needs.
  • Code Quality & Delivery: Uphold high code standards, conduct unit testing, collaborate, and meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Application Integration Specialist with demonstrated experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development, having built multiple interfaces integrating with Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud: experience designing, developing, and delivering solutions using OIC, Oracle Autonomous Database, and APEX Tools.
  • Integration Skills: In-depth knowledge of FBDI, REST API, SOAP Web Services of Oracle Cloud ERP, and experience building bulk integrations and error handling mechanisms.
  • Database Proficiency: Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including complex query writing, debugging, and tuning.
  • API & Web Services Knowledge: understanding of Web services and API technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XSD/XSLT), including domain microservices.
  • Version Control: Experience with configuration management tools like SVN and GitLab.
  • Communication & Collaboration: to work with internal and external clients, build reports, and foster relationships.
  • SaaS Extension Development: Work experience developing SaaS extensions using VBCS.
