Job Description

You will be part of the Software Research and Development Area in Varginha/MG, a global team. You will work directly in the area responsible for the development and maintenance of medical products, specifically in the Hospital Patient Monitoring area. Your role involves participating in the complete software development process, working autonomously and in pair-programming, challenging requirements, design, and quality. You will act as a technical specialist, leading software design, and providing guidance on best practices. You will handle complex software development tasks, conduct rigorous code reviews, collaborate with the testing team, investigate and resolve software defects, and stay updated on new technologies.
Must have:
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software, Control and Automation or related fields.
  • +3 years of experience in software product development.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.
  • Knowledge in C/C++ Programming, Design Patterns, Version Control (git), Agile Methodologies, Linux, and Embedded Systems.

Senior Product Development Analyst

You will be part of the Software Research and Development Area in Varginha/MG, a global team. You will work directly in the area responsible for the development and maintenance of medical products, specifically in the Hospital Patient Monitoring area (currently working on general and obstetric multi-parametric monitors).

Your role:

  • Participate in the complete software development process, working autonomously and in pair-programming with other members of the software team, challenging requirements, design, and quality.
  • Act as a technical specialist in specific areas within the team, leading the creation of software designs and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Take on software development tasks of higher complexity, collaborating with senior team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify potential errors, and promote best practices in software development, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality code.
  • Collaborate with the testing team in the development and execution of test plans, including unit, integration, and system tests, to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with specifications.
  • Investigate and resolve software defects by analyzing logs, reproducing problems, and implementing effective fixes to improve software reliability and performance.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development to continuously enhance skill sets and apply innovative solutions.
  • Participate in agile development processes, attending daily meetings, activity planning, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement, promoting agile principles and team cohesion.

You are the right person if you have:

  • Higher education in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software, Control and Automation or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills, great initiative, continuous improvement mindset, and focus on the needs of our clients and consumers;
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • +3 years of experience in software product development.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.
  • Knowledge in: C/C++ Programming, Design Patterns, Version Control (git), Agile Methodologies, Linux, and Embedded Systems.
