This role involves owning and scaling Attentive's AI Journeys, a fully automated messaging product designed to transform shopper intent into personalized consumer experiences. It's a high-impact opportunity central to Attentive's AI strategy, focusing on building trust in automated messaging through clear controls, guardrails, and reporting. The role also drives performance by elevating shopper experiences with intelligent, timely, and relevant messages, partnering with engineering, data science, analytics, and design to continuously improve results using generative AI and machine learning.
Must Have
- Build trust in fully automated messaging
- Design controls, guardrails, and workflows for AI-driven personalization
- Deliver clear visibility, metrics, and reporting that explain performance, outcomes, and tradeoffs
- Translate complex AI decisioning into simple, intuitive marketer experiences
- Build tight feedback loops with enterprise customers and internal GTM teams
- Drive meaningful performance for shoppers and brands
- Elevate the shopper experience with more intelligent, timely, and relevant messaging
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, analytics, and design to continuously improve results
- Extend the product across channels and use cases
- 4+ years of product management experience, owning products from discovery through scaling
- Exceptional ability to translate customer needs into intuitive product experiences
- Quickly become the go-to owner for everything you touch, obsessed with the details and relentless about results
- Thrive in ambiguity, rolling up your sleeves and learning by doing
- Excel across both sides of the product, from backend decision logic and system architecture to the user experience and customer trust it creates

In this role, you will own and scale AI Journeys, Attentive’s fully automated messaging product, transforming shopper intent into high-performing, 1:1 personalized consumer experiences. This is a high-impact, end-to-end opportunity at the heart of Attentive’s AI strategy, where you’ll shape how brands adopt automation with confidence and how consumers experience the future of shopping.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Build trust in fully automated messaging:
- Design controls, guardrails, and workflows that give marketers confidence to adopt AI-driven personalization at scale
- Deliver clear visibility, metrics, and reporting that explain performance, outcomes, and tradeoffs, turning automation from a black box into a trusted system
- Translate complex AI decisioning into simple, intuitive marketer experiences
- Build tight feedback loops with enterprise customers and internal GTM teams to ensure the product solves real-world problems and earns long-term adoption
- Drive meaningful performance for shoppers and brands:
- Elevate the shopper experience with more intelligent, timely, and relevant messaging
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, analytics, and design to continuously improve results, including applying generative AI and machine learning to personalize content and optimize delivery
- Extend the product across channels and use cases to unlock more value for customers.
Your Expertise
- You measure success by shipped impact. With 4+ years of product management experience, you’ve owned products from discovery through scaling and can point to concrete outcomes
- You are deeply attuned to your audience, with an exceptional ability to translate customer needs into intuitive product experiences
- You quickly become the go-to owner for everything you touch, obsessed with the details and relentless about results
- You thrive in ambiguity, rolling up your sleeves and learning by doing
- You excel across both sides of the product, from backend decision logic and system architecture to the user experience and customer trust it creates

For US based applicants:
- The US base salary range for this full time position is $175,000 - $219,000 annually + equity + benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
