Senior Project Leader

As a Senior Project Leader at our Schoonrewoerd location, you will oversee all processes related to cheese production: milk reception, cheese making, ripening, slicing & packaging, and distribution. You will be responsible for complex investment projects and technical feasibility studies. You will prepare and execute investment requests, ensuring they meet safety, performance, quality, budget, and timeline requirements. You will guide projects using the EEM methodology, from technical advice to post-project evaluation and training, collaborating with various departments and external suppliers.

Must Have

• Maintain stakeholder communication and provide clear progress reports.
• Collaborate intensively with Production, Maintenance, Quality & CSR, and R&D.
• Provide technical content contributions and guide project team members.

• Relevant work experience in the food industry and dairy knowledge.

As a Senior Project Leader, you will find all processes related to cheese at our Schoonrewoerd location: milk reception, cheese making, ripening, slicing & packaging, distribution. You will be responsible for the complex investment projects and technical feasibility studies related to this.

You will primarily work in Schoonrewoerd and realize projects at all three Leerdammer locations: Schoonrewoerd, Dalfsen, and Wageningen.

Your responsibility is mainly to prepare and elaborate investment requests and realize them within the set conditions regarding safety, performance, quality, budget, and time planning. You guide projects via our EEM methodology, from technical advice and project planning up to and including evaluation and aftercare through knowledge transfer and training.

In your project approach, you use the guidelines and project tools established by Lactalis. You participate in and lead various projects in the field of expansion, renewal, and optimization. You know how to keep your stakeholders well informed, so that everyone remains well connected to the project, and you provide clear reports on project progress. Of course, you involve suppliers of, for example, machines, technology, and electricity, and external advisors, so that all projects are completed First Time Right. You work intensively with colleagues from Production, Maintenance, Quality & CSR, and R&D. You know how to keep them involved in the project. With your seniority, you are able to manage every project successfully, you are also well informed technically, and where necessary, you also provide your technical content contribution. You are in good contact with the employees - including employees from the company - in your project team and help them on their way.

You report directly to the Manager Projects Engineering.
