Job Description

As a Senior R&D PM for co-development projects, you will drive cross-team and cross-regional game project execution. Your role involves establishing a comprehensive project management system, including planning, progress tracking, and risk management, to ensure efficient delivery. You will also focus on accumulating organizational process assets to enhance the maturity and efficiency of co-development operations in terms of processes, tools, and planning.
Must have:
  • Formulate detailed project development plans and decompose milestones
  • Establish a task tracking mechanism to ensure timely completion of outputs
  • Track progress, identify risks, and report issues/delays in co-development projects
  • Coordinate resources to resolve execution bottlenecks
  • Lead risk identification and contingency planning to ensure milestone delivery
  • Maintain high-frequency communication with co-development partners and establish efficient alignment
  • Maintain smooth information flow with product, development, QA, and publishing teams
  • Participate in project process construction and review to improve co-development business maturity
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the gaming industry, with large-scale project execution background
  • Experience in co-development/outsourcing/multi-team collaboration, understanding game cross-departmental cooperation
  • Proficient in project planning, task breakdown, progress tracking, and milestone management
  • Proficient in at least one mainstream project management tool (e.g., Jira, TAPD, Feishu)
  • Strong communication skills, good problem identification and resolution abilities
Good to have:
  • Experience with game projects developed based on P4 engineering
  • Work experience in a game R&D team (planning, programming, art, testing) and reaching a leader level
  • Experience with multi-platform (iOS/Android/PC) version collaboration
  • PMP/Agile/Scrum certification preferred

Job Description

As a project manager for co-development projects, you will focus on promoting the execution of cross-team, cross-regional game projects, responsible for establishing a co-development business project management system, including project plan formulation, daily progress tracking, risk management, and other tasks, to ensure orderly project progress and efficient delivery. While achieving the major delivery goals, you will also accumulate organizational process assets, improve the maturity of co-development business in terms of processes, tools, and planning, and continuously enhance the efficiency of co-development business. Main responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling Management

  • Formulate detailed project development plans and decompose milestones;
  • Establish a task tracking mechanism to ensure timely completion of outputs at each stage;
  • Assist in optimizing task allocation and human resource deployment to improve team collaboration efficiency.

2. Project Progress Tracking and Risk Control

  • Track progress, timely identify risks in co-development projects, and report issues and delays;
  • Coordinate multi-party resources to resolve bottlenecks in actual execution.
  • Lead risk identification and contingency plan formulation to ensure key nodes proceed as scheduled and co-development project milestones are delivered.

3. Cross-team Collaboration and Information Synchronization

  • Maintain high-frequency communication with co-development partners and establish an efficient alignment mechanism;
  • Maintain smooth information flow with functional lines such as product, development, QA, and publishing;
  • Assist in version joint debugging, issue alignment, and consensus promotion.

4. Organizational Accumulation and Business Efficiency Improvement

  • Participate in project process construction and review accumulation, improve the maturity of co-development business in terms of processes, tools, and planning, and continuously enhance the efficiency of co-development business
  • Continuously accumulate organizational process assets

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in the gaming industry, with a background in executing large-scale projects;
  • Experience in co-development/outsourcing/multi-team collaboration, understanding game cross-departmental cooperation mechanisms;
  • Proficient in project planning, task breakdown, progress tracking, and milestone management;
  • Proficient in using at least one mainstream project management tool (e.g., Jira, TAPD, Feishu, etc.);
  • Strong communication skills, with good problem identification and resolution abilities;

Bonus points:

  • Experience with game projects developed based on P4 engineering
  • Work experience in a game R&D team (planning, programming, art, testing) and reaching a leader level
  • Experience with multi-platform (iOS/Android/PC) version collaboration;
  • PMP/Agile/Scrum certification preferred, but not limited to these
