Senior Software Developer Specialist - Python and Go language

Nasdaq is seeking a Senior Software Developer Specialist in Bangalore, India, focusing on Python/Go Full Stack development. This role involves building state-of-the-art SaaS products for ESG reporting within the Nasdaq OneReport team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement modern Cloud Native SaaS applications, working in an Agile environment. Must Have

• Design, develop, troubleshoot and implement modern Cloud Native SaaS Applications
• Understand high-level architecture & design from architects, implement them through detailed design and quality code
• Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews
• Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications
• Conduct performance testing, review results, identify bottlenecks, and profile code
• Adherence to Nasdaq Operational and Security standards
• At least 8 to 10 years of Software Development experience
• 2+ years’ experience in building and managing Microservices and Cloud Native applications (GCP preferred)
• Hands on experience and a certified Cloud Practitioner (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Expert proficiency in Python and Go programming languages
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs
• Hands on experience in ReactJS, Typescript, Bootstrap 4, Storybook, Responsive Design, CSS and Design Systems
• Expertise in Relational database, database concepts and be able to write complicated database queries, preferably PostgreSQL
• Experience in GitLab, CI/CD, DevOps and Terraform
• Experience in Unit testing, Integration and E2E testing with automation tools
• Experience in manage Release process and deployments to higher environments like QC, UAT and Prod

Your role and responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Developer Specialist , your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions, besides working closely with your colleagues and Nasdaq teams in other countries.

We expect you to have:

• At least 8 to 10 years of Software Development experience with 2+ years’ experience in building and managing Microservices and Cloud Native applications (GCP preferred).

• Expert proficiency in Python and Go programming languages
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
