As a Senior Software Technologist I, you will act as a technical coach, ensuring best practices and high standards. You will integrate software components, conduct code reviews, and optimize application performance. The role involves staying current with emerging technologies, developing logging solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features. You will also resolve complex requests creatively, applying good judgment to find solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
10+ years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer.
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery.
Experience in JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, Node.js.
Experience in back-end languages like Java, Python.
Familiarity with databases like MySQL, MongoDB.
Familiarity with web servers (e.g., Apache, nginx).
Familiarity with UI/UX design.
Experience working in AWS/Azure cloud environment.
Adept at using AI Assistance tools (GitHub Copilot, Codex, Windsurf).
Experience with AI Agents, RAG, and MCP implementation.
Knowledge of creation and consumption of REST and SOAP services.
Familiarity with common stacks.
Experience working in scrum teams and agile methodologies.
Great attention to technical details.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Knowledge of a regulated (FDA) development environment.
Experience working in a cross-cultural environment in a global setup.
Prior experience in supporting medical products SW development.
Strong drive and focus on software quality.

Your role:

Acts as a technical coach for a team or domain, being recognized and approached by team members for expertise and guidance, ensures consistent application of best practices and high standards across projects.
Integrates software components and third-party libraries into existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and interoperability with minimal disruption.
Conducts and participates in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality.
Analyzes and optimizes application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance user experience and system efficiency, ensuring the software meets performance benchmarks.
Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating new tools and methodologies to improve development processes and product quality.
Develops software to log and store performance data, usage, errors, etc., enabling continuous monitoring of solutions and products for improved reliability and performance.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and user needs.
Resolves a wide range of moderate complexity requests in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

You're the right fit if:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information technology.
10+ years of proven experience as a Java Full Stack Developer.
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries like HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery.
Experience in JavaScript frameworks Angular, React, Node.js and multiple back-end languages like Java, Python.
Familiarity with databases MySQL, MongoDB, web servers (e.g. Apache, nginx) and UI/UX design.
Experience working in AWS/Azure cloud environment.
Adept at using one of these AI Assistance tools: GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Windsurf during coding tasks, AI Agents, Implementation of RAG and MCP.
Knowledge of creations and consumption of REST and SOAP services.
Familiarity with common stacks.
