Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Engineer to design, develop, and maintain next-generation AI-powered Natural Language Understanding (NLU) systems for the automotive and mobility markets. This role involves working with cutting-edge machine learning to deliver exceptional in-car AI experiences. Responsibilities include developing and improving NLU systems, creating new use cases, developing LLM-based data generation methods, maintaining dictionaries and grammar rules, and designing defect analysis methods.
Must Have
- Develop and improve NLU systems

- Develop LLM based data generation and data refinement methods
- Develop and maintain dictionaries, grammar rules, and annotations
- Design and implement efficient methods for defect analysis and resolution
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field
- Strong problem solving skills
- Hands-on software programming/scripting experience
- Experience with machine learning techniques
- Ability to implement and adapt existing algorithms
- Experience with RAG systems
- Experience with LLM prompting practices

Daily Functions / Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve NLU systems, including the development of new use cases and features to enhance the in-car AI experience for our customers
- Develop LLM based data generation and data refinement methods.
- Develop and maintain dictionaries, grammar rules, and annotations to ensure that our NLU systems meet the highest standards of performance
- Design and implement efficient methods for defect analysis and resolution for a complex AI-powered voice assistant system
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem solving skills with hands on software programming/scripting experience.
- Experience with machine learning techniques and the ability to implement and adapt existing algorithms
- Experience with RAG systems and LLM prompting practices
- Proficiency in additional human languages is a plus, as it will enable you to work effectively with our global team and better serve our international customers
