Summary

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure Supply Chain at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include implementing communication standards across programs, establishing program review cadences, leading governance for executive decision-making, identifying change management opportunities, and defining a program portfolio with high business impact. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners. This role requires strong technical expertise and experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and agile software development. You'll build a closed-loop system covering the entire business lifecycle of supply planning and fulfillment.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience in agile software development.
  • Experience in supply chain, planning or logistics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in setting up a technical program management function within an organization.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages, distributed systems, and highly scalable and reliable systems or cloud services.
  • Experience in capacity planning and management.
  • Experience managing deployment of one or more third-party solutions like SAP, JDA, Kinaxis, etc.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will grow in ambiguity, understand the needs of the business and solve the needs through technology. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Implement communication standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.  
  • Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and Resource Stewardship (e.g., effective deployment of machine and people resources).
  • Lead a governance structure that drives effective executive decision-making.
  • Seek and identify change management opportunities that increase program velocity and which affect multiple teams.
  • Define a program portfolio solving problems that aim high business impact for the organization and product area.
