The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in technical recruiting at a startup, with a proven ability to excel in fast-paced environments and hire senior engineering talent.

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at GlossGenius, you will be responsible for owning the full-lifecycle recruitment process for roles across our engineering pillars, this can include both pipeline-based hiring and unique job requisitions. You will partner with our engineering leaders to develop, execute, and improve on our hiring strategies to attract and hire top talent across NYC, SF, and Toronto.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).

What You’ll Do

  • Run an efficient, high-touch, full-lifecycle recruiting process for searches of varying levels of complexity 
  • Own sourcing for a variety of roles which will include talent mapping, market research, referral generation, and other creative strategies to find stellar technical talent
  • Leverage tools like Greenhouse and Gem to track candidate progress, resurface existing talent, and ensure high-quality data integrity 
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, drive alignment on priorities, and leverage data to influence decision-making and strategy
  • Promote GlossGenius’ culture and values to attract top talent and increase the company's employer brand awareness
  • Maintain a strong pulse on the technical talent market and provide insights on competitive hiring trends

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience with at least 2+ years of technical recruiting experience at a startup
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-urgency environments, maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • A self-starter with experience taking projects from 0-1 with little oversight and ability to articulate the why's and how's in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Clear track record of success with hiring senior/staff+ engineering talent
  • Ability to effectively influence engineering leaders to shape hiring strategies
  • Proven experience with complex candidate closes 
  • Analytical thinker that understands how to utilize pipeline metrics to inform recruiting strategies and identify bottlenecks
  • Customer-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills to handle all levels within an organization, and a track record of providing a high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managers

The starting base salary for this role in New York is between $130,000 and $170,000 target plus equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
