We’re now looking for a Head of HRBP to lead strategic people partnership and manage a team that is responsible for : HRBP, OD, People Analytics, HRIS and HR Ops. with Papaya’s senior leadership. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the company’s organizational evolution and culture at scale.
Your Impact
As our Head of HRBP, you’ll work closely with Papaya’s senior leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and cultural alignment. You’ll own key relationships across our group managers and Head of levels, act as a coach, and build scalable people practices to support a dynamic, execution-driven environment.
This role reports to the VP HR and plays a key role in company-wide planning, team design, and leadership enablement.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic and operational HRBP to Papaya’s executive leadership, integrating high-level planning with on-the-ground support
- Own and lead the HRBP function, including the direct management and development of team members across OD, People Analytics, HRIS, and People Ops
- Lead company-wide people processes end-to-end — including merit cycles, calibration, performance management, engagement, and succession planning etc.
- Own org design and workforce planning in alignment with evolving business needs
- Build and implement scalable programs that strengthen leadership, improve team dynamics, and drive org effectiveness
- Use people data and analytics to identify trends, inform decisions, and measure impact
- Ensure alignment and integration across global teams, with focused partnership in Eastern Europe (especially Poland)
- Champion Papaya’s culture and leadership principles across all levels of the organization
Requirements
- 10+ years of HRBP and people leadership experience in high-growth tech environments
- 4+ years partnering directly with executive leadership (VP/C-level)
- 4+ years experience leading and mentoring high-performing HR teams
- Demonstrated ownership of core HR functions such as OD, HRIS, HR Ops, and People Analytics
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability and strong organizational skills
- Global experience — ideally with Eastern European teams (Poland advantage)
- Strong business acumen, communication, and coaching capability
- Background in the gaming industry — an advantage
- BA in a relevant field required; MA is a plus
