Position Overview

As our business expands globally, we are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Global HR Advisor to join the Global People Team in a remote role. This is a pivotal opportunity to support our dynamic, international technology workforce across regions and business units.

In this role, you will coordinate seamless onboarding and off-boarding processes, uphold HR data integrity, and serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR inquiries. Collaborating closely with colleagues in multiple offices, you will deliver consistent, high-quality HR support, drive compliance with employment regulations, and contribute to HR projects and initiatives.

You will be expected to proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance HR processes and drive efficiency, actively leveraging emerging technologies, including AI, to streamline workflows and improve employee experiences. By fostering engagement, maintaining data accuracy, and continuously seeking ways to innovate, you will help build a globally consistent and positive employee experience within our fast-paced, innovative environment.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the onboarding program to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new hires.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries: policies, benefits, processes, and system support.
  • Partner with IT to increase automation, ensuring data accuracy in HRIS platforms (ADP, Greenhouse, ChartHop, etc.).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to conduct audits, maintain data integrity, and generate standard HR reports (headcount, turnover, compliance).
  • Administer HR processes for employee lifecycle events (promotions, transfers, leave of absence tracking, etc.).
  • Support compliance with local, state, federal, and international employment laws, assisting with audits and documentation as necessary.
  • Contribute to ongoing HR projects and programs: employee engagement, performance management cycles, and policy updates.
  • Collaborate globally with HR colleagues to ensure consistent support and continuously elevate the employee experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of employee immigration matters, including documentation, tracking, and coordination with external counsel and employees.
  • Serve as HR Generalist for at least 1-3 client groups within SingleStore, depending on size and scope of client groups as the opportunity arises.
  • Develop global program management skills by providing program management/oversight to at least one global program (engagement survey, recognition, etc.).
  • Continue to grow Business Partner skills by taking on increasing levels of HR responsibility as the opportunity arises.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally in HR operations, coordinator, or generalist roles.
  • Demonstrable experience with HRIS systems (ex. ADP, Workday, Greenhouse, ChartHop, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling, technology company.
