Job Summary
Kforce is seeking a hands-on Senior Test Infrastructure Engineer to join their QA team in Cypress, CA. This role involves maintaining and improving lab setups, supporting test teams, running and automating tests, reviewing results, and integrating testing into CI/CD workflows. The engineer will manage equipment, troubleshoot failures, and develop automation frameworks for API, UI, and system-level testing, applying best practices for testing and lab management.
Must Have
- Set up and maintain lab test rigs (controllers, readers, SIOs, devices)
- Wire, configure, and maintain lab equipment
- Manage equipment inventory and availability
- Run automated test suites, review results, troubleshoot failures
- Support QA/dev teams with test setup and hardware prep
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks (API, UI, system-level)
- Integrate automation into CI/CD (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker)
- Use Wireshark/network analyzers to debug issues
- Contribute to test planning, regression, and release validation
- Apply best practices for testing, automation, and lab management
- 5+ years in QA/test infrastructure
- 3+ years in automation/lab management
- Experience testing firmware/embedded systems in a lab
- Skilled in setting up, maintaining, and wiring test rigs
- Use of multimeters/logic analyzers for hardware debugging
- Familiarity with RS-485, OSDP, TCP/UDP protocols
- Proficient in Bash/Shell scripting, automation script writing/review
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, TestRail, JIRA, Agile
- Knowledge of QA processes (black/gray/white box testing)

Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in QA/test infrastructure, 3+ years in automation/lab management
- Experience testing firmware/embedded systems in a lab
- Skilled in setting up, maintaining, and wiring test rigs
