Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Unreal Programmer with over 5 years of experience in the video game industry. You will be responsible for writing highly efficient code and project assets, identifying and fixing bugs, and promoting high-level technical solutions. Collaboration with design and art teams is crucial, as is creating analytics and reports on code status. You may also mentor junior programmers and participate in agile methodology artifacts. The role requires advanced knowledge of C++, VR development, and the Unreal Engine framework and networking system. Familiarity with UML diagrams, version control, and analytical problem-solving skills are essential. Good writing skills for documentation are also required. The position involves relocation to the Canary Islands.

Responsibilities
Write highly efficient code and project assets.
Identify bugs and promote high-level technical solutions related to code.
Collaborate with different departments (mainly design and art teams) to achieve the proposed goals.
Create analytics and reports on the status of the code.
Mentor junior programmers if required
Participate in the different artifacts of the agile methodology.
Requirements
+5 years of experience as a programmer in the video game industry.
Advanced knowledge of C++ programming.
Previous experience developing in VR.
Have worked on at least one published game (VR or Mobile).
Advanced knowledge of the Unreal Engine game framework and networking system.
Ability to understand and write UML diagrams.
High knowledge on the use of version control.
High analytical skills for effective technical problem solving.
Good writing skills for documentation creation.
Knowledge of design patterns and design architectures.
English B2 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of EOS.

Type of contract
Relocation to Canary Island is required (Full relocation expenses and up to two months of temporary rent covered.)
Long term position. 40 hours/week contract.
35-45k gross annual salary depending on experience.
