As the Social Media Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of executing our carefully crafted social media strategy, which serves as the heartbeat of our online presence. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every aspect of our strategy resonates deeply with our dedicated Liquipedia community, driving engagement and fostering meaningful interactions.

You'll work hand in hand with our passionate team of volunteers, serving as the pillar between our strategy and its implementation. Through close coordination, you'll bring our vision to life, infusing it with your unique creativity and style to captivate our audience.

What you will be doing:

    • Manage the performance of our social media account portfolio
    • Execute our social media strategy with precision and effectiveness
    • Engage with our volunteer community to educate them on effective social media account management
    • Create, edit, publish, and distribute engaging content in alignment with the esports calendar, with assistance from our volunteer community
    • Perform research on current trends and audience preferences to optimize our social media strategy
    • Monitor and report on our social media performance, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement
    • Suggest and implement new features to further enhance our brand across social media platforms
    • Stay up to date on current technologies and trends in social media and related technologies

    What you’ll need:

    • 2+ years of experience in previous social media management or specialist roles
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience with content creation
    • Genuine interest in gaining a deeper familiarity with esports as a vertical and the preferences of the esports audience
    • Hands-on experience with social media data interpretation tools
    • Theoretical knowledge of digital marketing and social media's role within broader digital marketing channels
    • Problem-solving approach, critical thinking, and a self-starting attitude

    You’ll Earn Bonus Points If You Have:

    • Proven experience within the esports industry
    • Past experience working at a marketing agency

    Additional Requirements:

    The nature of our events may require flexibility in working hours. The successful candidate should be prepared to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure the success of our events.
