The Social Media Specialist at Team Liquid Philippines will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across all platforms. Collaboration with designers, content producers, and other internal teams is essential. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience managing social media, preferably in esports, gaming, or entertainment.

Join Our Team as a Social Media Specialist at Team Liquid Philippines!

Are you passionate about crafting content that resonates and drives engagement? Team Liquid Philippines is looking for a Social Media Specialist to oversee multiple social platforms from creating engaging content until evaluating effectiveness of our engagement reach.

Reporting to Head of Brand, Marketing, and Content, you'll work closely with designers, content producers, and editors to generate original and engaging social media content.

Job Purpose

The Social Media Specialist for Team Liquid Philippines is accountable for planning, executing, and managing social media strategies across all platforms to strengthen brand presence, grow audience engagement, and contribute to marketing initiatives. This role plays a vital part in shaping the online voice of Team Liquid PH, ensuring the content is relevant, on-brand, and aligned with the fast-evolving gaming and esports ecosystem.


What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored for the Philippine audience.
  • Align content with Team Liquid’s broader marketing and branding goals.
  • Create, maintain, and oversee a robust content calendar that includes esports coverage, talent content, merchandise promotion, and community engagement.
  • Work closely with designers, content producers, and editors to generate original and engaging social media content (e.g., short videos, memes, graphics, stories, reels).
  • Guide and manage community engagement by interacting with followers, replying to comments/messages, and fostering an engaged online fan base.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content styles to keep the brand relevant and fresh.
  • Review social media performance and provide regular reporting on metrics such as engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, partnerships, talent, esports) to contribute to campaigns and initiatives via social media.
  • Assist influencer and talent activations with planned social media rollout strategies.
  • Ensure all social media output is aligned with Team Liquid’s global branding and communications standards.


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media, ideally in esports, gaming, entertainment, or youth culture.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine digital audience behavior and content preferences.
  • Demonstrated experience in content planning and calendar creation.
  • Proficiency with social media analytics tools and publishing platforms.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and creative briefing skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Passion for gaming and esports is a strong plus.
