Social Media & PR Manager

VOID Interactive is seeking a dedicated Social Media & PR Manager to drive the company's global presence. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies, managing brand voice, building relationships with press and influencers, and leading impactful campaigns. The ideal candidate will be strategic, immersed in gaming culture, and capable of crafting compelling stories to elevate the VOID Interactive brand and its best-selling FPS game, Ready or Not.

Must Have

• Develop and execute social media strategies across all major platforms.
• Manage brand voice and storytelling across official channels.
• Build and maintain press and influencer relationships within gaming and entertainment media.
• Craft and pitch stories to amplify VOID Interactive’s brand and community moments.
• Collaborate with internal teams for content alignment.
• Track performance metrics, report results, and optimize strategies.
• Experience in social media management, PR, or communications within gaming or entertainment.
• Proven success in growing and managing product and brand social accounts.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and copy-editing skills.
• Understanding of gaming culture, online trends, and player behaviour.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or equivalent experience.

Good to Have

• Experience with crisis communication or reputation management.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or basic graphic/video editing tools.
• A personal passion for storytelling and community culture in gaming.
• A record of successful campaign launches or viral moments.

Role Overview:

As our Social Media & PR Manager, you’ll take point on how the world sees VOID Interactive. You’ll drive our voice across every platform, build powerful relationships with press and influencers, and lead campaigns that hit hard and make an impact. This role calls for someone sharp, strategic, and immersed in gaming culture, someone who can craft stories that command attention and elevate the VOID Interactive brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and executing social media strategies across all major platforms to grow and engage our audience.
• Managing the brand voice and storytelling across official channels with consistent tone, timing, and creativity.
• Building and maintaining press and influencer relationships within gaming and entertainment media.
• Crafting and pitching stories that amplify VOID Interactive’s brand and community moments.
• Collaborating with internal teams to align PR and social content with development updates, releases, and key campaigns.
• Tracking performance metrics, reporting results, and optimising strategies based on data and trends.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in social media management, PR, or communications within gaming or entertainment.
• Proven success in growing and managing product and brand social accounts.
• Experience building and maintaining press and influencer relationships.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and copy-editing skills.
