You will identify and resolve data discrepancies, provide optimization recommendations, and prepare performance reports, collaborating with stakeholders to implement SAM strategies.
Must Have
- Analyze software inventory and license entitlements.
- Identify and resolve gaps in software asset and license data.
- Optimize software asset and license management processes following ITIL 4.
- Provide recommendations on software licensing optimization and cost-saving.
- Prepare and deliver reports on software asset and license status.
- Support SAM strategy development, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on software licensing models, terms, and conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software asset and license management.
- Strong knowledge of software licensing models for Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Adobe.
- Proficient in using SAM tools like Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow.
- Certified or trained in ITIL 4 or equivalent framework.

Job Summary
As a Software Asset Management Senior Analyst, you will be part of the SAM Practice team, led by the SAM Practice Leader. You will work with a team of SAM Practitioners to deliver software licensing solutions and value-driven service to our clients worldwide, using the ITIL 4 methodology. You will be responsible for analysing, optimizing, and reporting on the software assets and licenses of our clients, ensuring compliance, cost-efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities/Outcomes
- Analyse the software inventory and license entitlements of our clients, using various tools and data sources.
- Identify and resolve any gaps, discrepancies, or issues in the software asset and license data.
- Optimize the software asset and license management processes and practices, following the ITIL 4 framework and best practices.
- Provide recommendations and guidance on software licensing optimization, compliance, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver reports and dashboards on the software asset and license status, performance, and trends of our clients.
- Support the SAM Practice Leader and the SAM Practitioners in developing and implementing SAM strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest software licensing models, terms, and conditions of various software vendors and products.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, partners, and colleagues.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software asset and license management, preferably in a consulting or service delivery role.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of software licensing models, terms, and conditions of various software vendors and products, such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, etc.
- Proficient in using various software asset and license management tools, such as Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow, etc.
- Certified or trained in ITIL 4 or equivalent framework for IT service management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel and work with clients across different locations and time zones.
