Position Overview

The Software Engineer will help build Autodesk Fusion, a cutting-edge platform for design and manufacturing professionals. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role focuses on hands-on implementation, agile development, and contributions to software architecture. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, UX, and QA—the Software Engineer ensures delivery of high-quality, reliable software that aligns with Autodesk’s mission to provide continuous value to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement features for Autodesk Fusion using modern programming practices
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices
  • Typical projects: Enhancing modeling capabilities, integrating cloud services, and improving application performance
  • Technologies used: C++, Python, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools
  • Role type: Individual contributor within a collaborative engineering team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
