Job Summary

The Sound Designer will be responsible for checking, integrating, and configuring sounds in FMOD and the Playrix Engine, editing audio libraries, maintaining asset lists, and collaborating with the game design team.
Must Have
- Experience configuring sounds and music in games, OR experience as a technical game designer with a strong desire to develop into a sound designer role
- Knowledge of audio engineering/sound design fundamentals (editing, layering, frequency/dynamic processing, creating depth)
- Proficiency in any DAW (Cubase, Reaper, Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, etc.) for basic tasks
- Understanding of the game content creation pipeline/processes
Good to Have
- Experience working with FMOD or Wwise
- A portfolio of completed game projects
- Experience as a sound designer/technical sound designer in game projects

Tasks
- Checking source files upon receipt from sound designers
- Integrating and configuring sounds in FMOD and the Playrix Engine
- Editing sounds from the provided audio libraries
- Maintaining project asset lists and sound libraries
- Working in close collaboration with the game design team
Requirements
- Experience configuring sounds and music in games, OR experience in the role of technical game designer + a strong desire to develop toward a sound designer role
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of audio engineering and/or sound design (sound editing, layering, frequency processing, dynamic processing, creating depth)
- Knowledge of any DAW (Cubase, Reaper, Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, etc.), and the ability to perform basic tasks within it
- An understanding of the game content creation pipeline/processes
Preferred
- Experience working with FMOD or Wwise
- A portfolio of completed game projects
- Experience as a sound designer/technical sound designer in game projects
