As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a critical role as a coach, advisor, and strategic partner to the General Manager and the leadership team. You will contribute to building and maintaining a competitive people organization, act as a change agent, and promote a positive and inclusive culture. By working consultatively with business leaders, you will align and optimize people and departmental strategies to drive both short-term and long-term business results.
This role requires a strong understanding of the business, the ability to influence without formal authority, and a proactive, hands-on mindset to tackle challenges in complex and evolving environments.

Your Responsibilities (Day-to-Day)
- Be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance on talent management, organizational design, compensation, and performance management.
- Collaborate with business leaders to assess organizational challenges, define talent gaps, and develop people strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Design and implement HR strategies that strengthen employee engagement, support business transformation, and facilitate sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with operational leaders, corporate HR areas, and Centers of Excellence to ensure robust talent strategies, training, and development initiatives.
- Foster a positive work environment based on respect, values, and inclusion, where employees feel empowered to express concerns and managers receive necessary support.
- Lead and support change management initiatives, optimizing processes and creating agile structures that allow for greater efficiency.
- Use data, metrics, and market information to inform decisions and measure the impact of HR strategies.
- Develop comprehensive approaches to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in talent attraction, development, and retention.
- Strengthen leadership capabilities through coaching, consultative advice, and challenging assumptions to influence decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to offer development programs that support leader growth and employee career progression.
- Implement engagement strategies and employee lifecycle initiatives, ensuring that talent and business needs are aligned.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience as HRBP or HR Generalist, with exposure to talent management, performance management, organizational development, compensation, labor relations, and consulting.
- Solid knowledge of labor regulations, laws, and rules, with the ability to professionally handle and escalate complex cases.
- Proven experience working in unionized environments is desired.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and build credibility with various stakeholders, guiding them towards consensus and commitment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills; ability to translate data and information into concrete strategies and actions.
- Experience in multicultural and matrix organizations with global teams.
- Experience leading change management processes and building organizational engagement strategies.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is not required but desired.
- Previous experience in media, advertising sales, streaming or technology, hospitality, airlines, as well as supermarket or restaurant chains is a plus.
- Knowledge of HR systems such as Workday or Oracle is a plus.
