Job Summary
Scopely is seeking a Senior QA Analyst for the Monopoly GO! team to shape and execute quality strategies, ensuring high standards across all development stages. This role involves collaborating with design, engineering, and production teams to anticipate risks, refine testing workflows, and improve QA processes. The analyst will evaluate complex features, identify issues, and lead by example in communication, while also mentoring less experienced team members.
Must Have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, software development, or a directly related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on testing experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience, managing projects or teams, with or without direct reports.
- Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management for mobile or live-service games.
- Experience with complex test environments and workflows across multiple platforms.
- Solid analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks early in the development process.
Good to Have
- Experience working on large-scale live games.
- Familiarity with mobile social apps and their functions such as Discord, SnapChat, Whatsapp.
- Advanced knowledge of JIRA, profiling tools, and performance testing.
- Background in mentoring or training QA teams on emerging testing methodologies.

What You Will Do
- Shape and execute quality strategies for features, releases, and live updates, ensuring high standards across all stages of development.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and production teams early in development to anticipate quality risks and influence planning decisions.
- Use your expertise in test planning and analysis to evaluate complex features, identifying and addressing issues before they reach players.
- Partner with developers to refine testing workflows, strengthen automation coverage, and continuously improve QA processes.
- Lead by example in clear, proactive communication — sharing insights and recommendations that enhance overall product quality and team efficiency.
- Support and mentor less experienced QA team members, encouraging curiosity, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Foster a culture of excellence, inclusion, and creative thinking within the QA discipline and across the broader team.
What We're Looking For
