Job Summary

Join AriensCo as a Senior Test Technician in Brillion, WI, to develop and test machinery. You will collaborate with engineers, review blueprints, fabricate test setups, conduct various tests including regulatory ones, analyze results, and record data to ensure top-quality performance and innovative solutions for yard and garden products. This role requires an Associate's degree and at least 8 years of experience.

Must Have

  • Review project instructions and blueprints
  • Generate sketches for parts fabrication
  • Devise, fabricate, and assemble new test setups
  • Set up and conduct tests of units and components
  • Set up test procedures, instrumentation, and computer support
  • Run complex non-routine tests
  • Set up and conduct all regulatory tests (ANSI, CPSC, CE)
  • Analyze test results and modify equipment
  • Record test procedures, results, and recommendations
  • Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum 8 years related experience and/or training

Job Description

Join AriensCo as a Senior Test Technician at our location in Brillion, WI! We’re looking for a motivated and passionate professional to help develop and test machinery and equipment. In this role, you’ll work closely with our engineering team, bringing innovative ideas to life and ensuring top-quality performance.

THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Review project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies
  • Generate sketches for the Model Shop to request parts fabrication by machine, sheet metal or other means
  • Devise, fabricate, and assemble new test setups mechanical components or assemblies for yard and garden products snow or other company machinery
  • Set up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance, durability or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control
  • Set up test procedures, instrumentation and computer support
  • Run complex non routine tests
  • Set up and conducts all regulatory tests (ANSI, CPSC, CE)
  • Analyze indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications
  • Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience and/or training
  • Willing and able to get fork lift driving certification
