Job Summary

The Senior System Verification Engineer is responsible for ensuring product design output aligns with design input and continuously improving product quality through systematic verification. Key responsibilities include developing and executing test cases, assessing design change impacts, updating verification plans and specifications, ensuring verification evidence for all requirements, and documenting all verification activities. The role also involves reporting and tracking product issues, performing regression tests, and developing automated test scripts and tools to enhance testing efficiency and support new technology integration.

Must Have

  • Develop test cases
  • Assess impact of design changes to Verification Baseline and update Design Verification Specification
  • Update Design Verification Plan based on design change impacts
  • Ensure verification evidence exists for all design input requirements
  • Document Design Verification Plan, Spec, Record and Report with compliance
  • Manage Design Verification Traceability Matrix and Risk Assessment Verification Evidence
  • Execute Design Verification Test Cases and document test results
  • Report product issues/defects and track issues fixing
  • Perform design verification regression tests
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools
  • Support integration of new technologies and platforms into existing testing environments
  • Bachelor’s or above Degree in Engineering (biomedical, electronic, computer science or software engineering)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in automation test or software programming
  • Skillful in programming, debugging and database
  • Abundant experience in product (system) verification/design verification, including planning, execution and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the V-model development cycle
  • Excellent written and verbal English proficiency

Good to Have

  • Experience in X-ray product
  • Knowledge of hardware, embedded software and auto-test software
  • Knowledge of IEC60601 standard, ISO13485 and 21CFR820
  • ISTQB certification

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Ensure product design output consistent with the design input, and is committed to continuously improve the quality of products through systematic verification.

You are responsible for

  • Responsible for developing test case
  • Responsible for assessing the impact of design changes that occur to the Verification Baseline and updating the Design Verification Specification as appropriate including any regression tests
  • Responsible for updating the Design Verification Plan based on the design change impacts as appropriate
  • Responsible for ensuring verification evidence exists for all design input requirements
  • Responsible for documents of Design Verification Plan, Spec, Record and Report with compliance.
  • Responsible for the Design Verification Traceability Matrix and Risk Assessment Verification Evidence
  • Executes the Design Verification Test Cases and documents the test results
  • Report product issues/defects, and track issues fixing
  • Performs design verification regression tests
  • Develops and maintains automated test scripts and tools to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency in test execution and analysis.
  • Supports the integration of new technologies and platforms into existing testing environments, conducting compatibility and interoperability testing as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s or above Degree in Engineering, the better major in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering, computer science or software engineering.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in automation test or software programming is required.
  • Skillful in programming, debugging and database.
  • Abundant experience in product (system) verification/design verification, including planning, execution and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with different functions, e.g. System, Physics, SW, PM etc.
  • Experience in X-ray product is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the V-model development cycle
  • Knowledge of hardware, embedded software and auto-test software is much preferred
  • Knowledge of IEC60601 standard, ISO13485 and 21CFR820 is much preferred
  • ISTQB certification is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal English proficiency is required
