We are looking for a talented Senior Video Editor to join our innovative Game Capture team at Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group. We are looking for a self-starter who has a passion for the gaming industry, proven skills in content production and the ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing creative environment.
NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES FULL-TIME, ON-SITE EMPLOYMENT AT OUR WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA LOCATION.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Collaborate with capture, producers, and creatives to create detailed gameplay trailers.
- Proactively solve problems and present creative solutions for editorial storytelling.
- Understand brand pillars and game features.
- Review brand documentation and asset briefs to gain a better understanding of the game and assignments.
- Use active listening to aid in understanding asset requirements.
- Ask questions internally within the department to clarify asset creative vision and objectives.
- Bring knowledge and a passion for continued education in modern editorial style and technique.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- At least 6 years of experience in trailer editing, including editing animation/gaming.
- At least 4 years of experience in editorial editing software applications, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Eager to learn and grow within the company.
- Love of video games and filmmaking.
