As a Strategic Projects Lead (SPL) at Turing, you will spearhead large-scale, impactful projects for leading AI companies. Your role is critical in accelerating innovation by managing teams, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the timely, high-quality delivery of solutions in a dynamic environment.
Must Have
- Design and manage end-to-end project workflows to achieve business outcomes
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement enhancements for efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate and scale delivery capabilities
- Serve as the primary contact for AI research and operations teams, ensuring clear communication and reporting
- Build long-term client partnerships through reliable and exceptional performance
- Oversee and align a distributed workforce of 500+ contributors with project goals
- Lead onboarding, training, and performance management to maintain project quality
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs
- PhD degree with at least 2 years of experience working in data related fields OR 5 years of corporate research experience working with PhDs
- Able to read and write python code and understand data very well
- Track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong technical (data) documentation skills and knowledge of data quality
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in dynamic settings
- Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders in world-class technology organizations
- Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and is passionate about system optimization and continuous improvement
- Prior experience working with PhD talent
- Knowledge on LLM research, SOTA models and benchmarks
