Job Summary
This internship in Live Action Production at 20th Century Studios offers a unique opportunity to gain a broad understanding of feature film production from a studio perspective. The intern will assist Production Executives, Managers, and Coordinators across various stages of film development, prep, production, and post-production. Responsibilities include administrative support, scheduling, script reading, attending meetings, contract tracking, and research projects such as creating set lists and tracking crew availability. The role also involves maintaining digital files and providing general office support, interacting with departments like Finance, Legal, Creative, and Marketing.
Must Have
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
- Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative while providing support
- Understanding of office procedures, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
- General understanding of film production and industry concepts and players, with an eagerness to learn
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university studying Film/Video Production
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9am – 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Job Summary:
About the Role & Program:
We have an opening in our Live Action Production team in Physical Production for 20th Century Studios. This person will interact with several departments (Finance, Legal, Creative, Post Production, VFX, Marketing, Franchise, Emerging Technology, Animal Sciences, etc.) in order to gain a broad understanding of Feature Film Production from the Studio perspective.
What You Will Do:
- Assist Production Executives, Managers and Coordinators on roughly twenty films in various stages of Development, Prep, Production, and Post Production
- Cover Executive desks and assist with scheduling and other admin responsibilities as needed
- Read all available scripts
- Attend and help set up internal studio meetings and meetings with our productions
- Distribute and track Below the Line contracts
- Work on various Research and Development projects including creating set lists, tracking crew availability per project, script comparisons, pulling images, inputting schedules into Movie Magic, obtaining location packages from films commissions, etc.
- Maintain digital files and assets on department server and online database
- General office support (e.g., answer phones, re-stocking supplies, print/copy, basic tech support)

Additional Information:
- The approximate dates of this internship are from June 2026 through December 2026.
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9am – 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
