Job Summary
The Preditor is a platform-savvy production team leader focused on rapid, high-quality content creation & delivery. This role partners with content leads who own strategy/creative and works across the internal production team to translate that direction into creative, engaging, and effective content. The ideal candidate will be expert in all aspects of video production, from pre-production through physical production, and post-production, executing a wide range of styles and roles. They plan ahead, scope work, build timelines, and ensure every request is executed with precision while balancing speed, quality, new creative ideas, and brand compliance.
Must Have
- Lead post-production workflows from ingest through delivery across multiple projects.
- Review assets, ensure media organization, versioning, and adherence to TWDC standards.
- Provide clear edit and graphics notes to editors and motion designers.
- Manage feedback rounds, consolidate notes, and track implementation through delivery.
- Oversee QC, archival, and master deliveries, ensuring quality and distribution clearance.
- Plan and lead small-scale on-set productions, including camera, lighting, and sound setup.
- Act as on-site lead for small shoots; collaborate on mid/large-scale productions.
- Build production plans, gear lists, and shooting schedules with creative leads.
- Ensure footage/audio capture meets standards; manage media ingest and transfer.
- Support live events, junkets, red carpets, and field assignments.
- Communicate project status, timing, and creative feedback across internal/external teams.
- Maintain accurate project tracking in Airtable and shared platforms.
- Balance deadlines, competing priorities, and resource needs across physical and post pipelines.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
- 3+ years in production and/or post-production experience in short and mid-length video.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite (Premiere, Encoder, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Advanced knowledge of physical production gear (cinema style cameras, studio/field lighting, audio recording).
- Proven track record executing high-volume, quick-turn edits with excellent organization.
- Fluency in platform specs (aspect ratios, codecs, captions, audio) and delivery workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to run projects independently while collaborating with stakeholders.
- Strong systems mindset: versioning, organization, naming, and repeatable workflows.
- Comfortable giving/receiving actionable edit notes; calm under tight deadlines.
- Expert troubleshooter and problem solver.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Airtable (or similar PM tools), Frame.io, and shared-storage best practices.
- Experience coordinating event-driven turnarounds (premieres, activations, livestreams) from a post lens.
- Broad knowledge of plug-ins, tools, and technologies for efficient creative workflows.

The Digital Center of Excellence Production Team is responsible for ideating, developing, and executing digital, social content and creative assets for the Studio brands and titles to support the wider Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing Team. Consisting of a unit of designers, editors, and producers, with full-service development-to-distribution capabilities, the team serves as a one-stop internal creative agency to address the marketing needs of a rapidly evolving consumer base.
Job Summary:
The Preditor is a platform-savvy production team leader focused on rapid, high-quality content creation & delivery. This role partners with content leads who own strategy/creative and works across the internal production team to translate that direction into creative, engaging, and effective content.
The ideal candidate will be expert in all aspects of video production, from pre-production through physical production, and post-production. They will execute of a wide range of styles and roles in the video production pipeline, including: EPK and junket style content, red carpet, convention, and live event video coverage, sponsored content, on-location social content capture, remote interviews, animated short-form trailers and explainers, and long-form compilation edits.
The Preditor plans ahead, scopes work, builds timelines, and ensures every request is executed with precision while balancing speed, quality, new creative ideas, and brand compliance.
Operating with independence in a high-volume environment, this role will work alongside a team of fellow producers, editors, graphic and motion designers, as well as production management support staff, and will be required to be able to lead a variety of concurrent productions to successful completion, articulating a clear vision for other supporting team members to follow.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable leading small teams, as they will work closely with their team members to implement and follow production schedules, ensuring deadlines are being met and high standards are being maintained. This role also orchestrates projects across editors and motion designers, maintains stakeholder alignment, and safeguards consistency across 16:9 and 9:16 outputs. Organizational and collaborative skills as well as an ability to prioritize are a must.

Responsibilities:
Post-Production Oversight & Leadership
- Lead post-production workflows from ingest through delivery, managing multiple concurrent projects across formats and platforms.
- Review incoming assets and ensure proper media organization, versioning, and adherence to TWDC technical, creative, and legal standards.
- Provide clear and actionable edit and graphics notes to editors and motion designers, ensuring final output aligns with creative intent and brand standards.
- Manage internal and external feedback rounds, consolidate notes, and track implementation through delivery.
- Oversee QC, archival, and master deliveries; ensure all assets meet final quality specifications and are cleared for distribution.
- Maintain strong understanding of platform specs, codecs, aspect ratios, and emerging post technologies to ensure efficiency and innovation.
Physical Production including directing, shooting, & producing
- Plan and lead small-scale on-set productions, including camera, lighting, and sound setup, ensuring clear communication of roles and objectives to crew.
- Act as on-site lead for small shoots; collaborate with producers and department heads for mid, large-scale or high-visibility productions.
- Build production plans, gear lists, and shooting schedules in collaboration with production management and creative leads.
- Ensure footage and audio capture meet required technical and creative standards; manage safe and accurate media ingest and transfer to post teams.
- Support live events, junkets, red carpets, and other field assignments as needed, ensuring alignment between production capture and post deliverables.
Content & Technical Development including
- Identify and test emerging post-production tools, plug-ins, and workflows to increase efficiency and creative flexibility.
- Participate in team meetings and postmortems to surface challenges and propose process improvements.
- Partner with peers across production, design, and creative to codify best practices, templates, and technical standards.
Project & Cross-Team Management
- Communicate project status, deliverable timing, and creative feedback across internal and external teams.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years in production and/or post-production experience in short and mid-length video.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite; Premiere, Encoder, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Advanced knowledge of physical production gear including: cinema style cameras, studio and field lighting, and audio recording devices.
- Proven track record executing high-volume, quick-turn edits with excellent organization.
- Fluency in platform specs (aspect ratios, codecs, captions, audio) and delivery workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to run projects independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities and proficiencies include:
- Expert understanding of a wide range of post-production techniques and technical processes, including multi-cam editing and audio syncing, color correction, audio cleanup, and motion-graphics methods such as keyframe animation, compositing, and rotoscoping.
- Physical production experience (in field or in studio) including digital-cinema camera operation, lighting, audio.
- Produce and edit videos in 16:9 and 9:16 formats, incorporating footage from TWDC film, series, and marketing content, as well as field cameras, music, sound effects, and graphics.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative leads to refine messaging and branding elements within video projects.
- Route proposed final deliverables for notes from leadership, stakeholders, and legal/clearance teams; consolidate feedback and ensure compliance.
- Maintain clarity around the specific requirements for multiple deliverables per video, including versions for different aspect ratios and platforms.
- Deliver completed videos to stakeholders, signing off on all finished renders free of any quality-control issues.
- Implement high-level editorial judgment to ensure content aligns with brand objectives and audience expectations.
- Oversee QC, archival, and master deliveries; uphold TWDC legal and security standards.
- Ensure best practices for distribution and readiness across social and streaming ecosystems.
- Organize workload, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work well within a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Participate in team meetings and processes to provide feedback to improve and inform go-forward strategies and tactics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging digital-media technologies.
- Deep knowledge of characters and titles within Disney Entertainment Studios brands is a plus.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $105,100.00 to $140,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
