Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d) Electrical Engineering

How will you make a difference?

• Validation of electrical/electronic purchased parts according to the milestone plan in the project
• Application of group standards, such as supplier APQP purchased parts
• Collaboration with engineering and development to define critical product characteristics that must be ensured by the supplier
• Support in the creation of FMEA for the product, process, assembly, and logistics, as well as the derivation of control plans
• Auditing of suppliers according to the annual audit plan
• The validation of suppliers and purchased parts takes place for the entire WABTEC TRANSIT Group, with a focus on purchased parts for the HVAC Product Line (air conditioning systems)
• Supplier development for the electrical/electronics parts group (commodity) in close coordination with the central WABTEC TRANSIT Commodity Purchasing

What do we want to know about you?

• Completed studies as an engineer / bachelor with professional experience in mechanical engineering, climate and refrigeration technology, electronics, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, automation technology, and QM
• QS training basics of ISO 9001 or comparable standards
• Proficient English skills in spoken and written word
• Assertiveness and high commitment
• Very good team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
• Auditor training and audit experience desirable
