Job Description
The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for managing raw materials and components inventory levels, defining and leading inventory reduction actions, and daily reporting of inventory levels. This role involves planning raw material and component requirements based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning and Master Production Schedule, ensuring material availability to meet customer demand, and daily follow-up on material arrivals and supplier shipments. Regular, precise, and reliable communication with suppliers is also a key responsibility.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in inventory control or materials planning
- Responsible for setting up proper raw materials and components inventory levels
- Define and lead actions connected with inventory reductions with components families
- Follow up and report daily the inventory level of raw material and components families
- Plan raw materials and components requirement based upon Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning and Master Production Schedule
- Anticipate potential impacts with suppliers and with production
- Make sure that raw materials and components are available to meet customer demand
- Follow up daily the material arrivals according to firm orders
- Make sure suppliers ship parts on time according to firm orders
- Communicate complete, precise & reliable information to the Supplier contacts on a regular basis

Requirements:

- On a regular basis, communicate complete, precise & reliable information to the Supplier contacts. Adapt the chosen method of communication to the level of the Supplier contact. Adapt the frequency to the situation (preventative, curative, crisis)
