System administrator (office Yerevan)

Gaijin Entertainment is looking for a System Administrator for their Yerevan office to join their IT team. The role involves supporting colleagues with Windows and Linux workstations, configuring and maintaining servers, monitoring Windows Server, assisting with Linux, managing Active Directory and corporate networks (LAN, VPN, routing), selecting, testing, and repairing hardware, planning infrastructure development, and quickly resolving technical issues related to hardware and software.

Gaijin develops AAA online games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, including the popular MMO "War Thunder", "Enlisted" and other games. The team consists of hundreds of talented game developers from all over Europe and is constantly growing!

Currently, the team has over 700 employees from all over the world: some create graphics, others write code, and some come up with exciting gameplay and new features. All this would be impossible without the IT team, which supports our infrastructure and ensures it works without interruptions.

To continue this, we are looking for a System Administrator for the Yerevan office to strengthen the IT team (working with company employees, not game maintenance).

What you will be doing:

• Help colleagues with workstations (Windows and Linux)
• Configure and maintain servers
• Monitor Windows Server, assist with Linux
• Manage Active Directory and corporate network (LAN, VPN, routing)
• Select, test, and repair hardware (servers, PCs, peripherals)
• Plan infrastructure development and updates
• Quickly resolve technical issues — both hardware and software

Our candidate has:

• System administration experience: 2+ years
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and client OS
• Basic Linux skills: installation, service configuration, scripting
• Understanding of networks: TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS
• Proficiency in Active Directory, group policies, access rights
• Ability to select and configure hardware
• Fluent Russian, English B1+ for reading documentation and correspondence
