Systems and Hardware Enabling engineer

As a Systems and Hardware Enabling engineer in Intel's Edge Computing Group, you will provide technical support for solutions integrating Intel products, ensuring market readiness and accelerating customer differentiation. Responsibilities include developing and implementing product design, validation tools, and providing technical support during development, testing, and production. You will also evaluate and design new software/hardware fixtures, create technical collateral, and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver products. Partnering with customer R&D and manufacturing is key to ensure smooth product ramp and provide rapid technical support.

Must Have

• Provides technical support for solutions that incorporate one or more Intel products and technologies
• Ensures time-to-market readiness and transforms opportunities to design and production wins
• Enables ecosystem and industry partners for platform solution readiness
• Develops and implements product design, development, and validation tools
• Provides technical and issue resolution support during development, testing, and production
• Evaluates, designs, and develops new software and hardware fixtures
• Utilizes tools during project deployment to validate and optimize product quality and performance
• Creates product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral
• Collaborates and enables internal and external silicone, hardware, and software teams to deliver latest products
• Partners with customer RnD and manufacturing to ensure smooth product ramp
• Integrates customer requirements, mitigates customer factory challenges, delivers product training, and provides health oversight with rapid technical support
• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in BIOS firmware, Windows OS debug, Linux debug Platform HW design, application engineering and/or Intel IA validation
• Familiar with x86 CPU and chipset architecture, embedded systems, computer system/board designs
• Experience in BIOS firmware, Windows and Linux OS level platform debug
• Technical Documentation, Technical Requirement Definition and Design
• Customer Support, troubleshooting, and good communication skill
• Familiar with circuit design/circuit theory, understanding of electrical component and characteristics
• Familiar/Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, analyzers, multimeter)
• Excellence in English communication (verbal and written)
• Team player and able to interact with different internal and external stake holders

• Provides technical support for solutions that incorporate one or more Intel products and technologies, drivers solution design ensuring time-to-market readiness, transforms opportunities to design and production wins, and enables ecosystem and industry partners for platform solution readiness
• Develops and implements product design, development, and validation tools and provides technical and issue resolution support during development, testing, and production
• Evaluates, designs, and develops new software and hardware fixtures and utilizes tools during project deployment to validate and optimize product quality and performance.
• Creates product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral.
• Collaborates and enables internal and external silicone, hardware, and software teams to deliver latest products in the market.
• Partners with customer RnD and manufacturing to ensure smooth product ramp through integrating customer requirements, mitigating customer factory challenges, delivering product training, and provide health oversight with rapid technical support and systematic improvement action.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience in BIOS firmware, Windows OS debug, Linux debug Platform HW design, application engineering and/or Intel IA validation.
• Familiar with x86 CPU and chipset architecture, embedded systems, computer system/board designs.
• Experience in BIOS firmware , Windows and Linux OS level platform debug.
• Technical Documentation, Technical Requirement Definition and Design
• Customer Support, troubleshooting, and good communication skill.
• Familiar with circuit design/ circuit theory, understanding of electrical component and characteristics.
