Job Summary: Cubic is a global organization, headquartered in San Diego, California, USA with a Talent Acquisition team that is spread across the world.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: The TA Onboarding Coordinator will:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring compliance with all processes and always maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Help new hires have a smooth start into their roles and the organization.
- Facilitate and process background checks and paperwork, such as offer letters, contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
- Inform employees on their first tasks (e.g. which programs to download and how to activate their accounts).
- Serve as the first point of contact for new employees and hiring managers from an onboarding standpoint and assist with new hire queries from onboarding through day 2.
- Schedule and facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires, welcoming new employees, and enabling hire completion.
- Ensure new hires have the necessary login credentials and logistics ready before their date of joining.
- Generate onboarding specific metrics on a monthly, quarterly basis as required.
- Prepare welcome packages to be sent to new hires.
- Find innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees and improve our process.
- Manage the performance and efficiency of the onboarding and induction processes collaborating with various stakeholders in Talent Acquisition, HRBP, Admin and IT teams to provide workable solutions.
- Review new hire surveys, provide feedback, and initiate appropriate action for follow-up.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field with 4+ years of experience in onboarding or in relevant HR role.
- Detail oriented, team player driven by process improvement.
- Excellent communication and follow-through/up skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
- Willingness to work the hours of the supported region.
Desirable:
- Experience using and/or knowledge of Workday.
- Previous experience working in a high volume, pressurized environment and delivering required tasks within deadlines to a high standard.
- Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
