Job Summary
Coda is seeking a Tax Analyst to manage group-wide tax compliance and reporting, coordinating with internal finance teams and external service providers. The role involves managing tax controversies by supporting audits, responding to queries, and compiling necessary documentation. Responsibilities also include monitoring tax legislation, researching changes in local tax laws, and implementing operational adjustments. The analyst will provide tax support for ad-hoc projects and business queries, including researching and resolving tax technical issues related to transactions, products, compliance, and audits. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with cross-border transactions and the technology industry.
Must Have

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage Tax Compliance & Reporting: Work closely with the Tax Manager to oversee group-wide tax compliance and reporting. This includes coordinating with internal finance team and external service providers.
- Manage Tax Controversies: Support tax audits and respond to queries by compiling documentation, performing reconciliations, and working with internal finance team, external service providers and tax advisors.
- Monitor Tax Legislation: Research and track changes of local tax laws and regulations, and help to implement necessary operational changes.
- Business Partnering: Offer tax support for ad-hoc projects and business queries, including researching and resolving tax technical issues related to transactions (including cross-border and intercompany transactions), products, tax compliance, or tax audits.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Taxation or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and/or a multinational company
- Self-starter, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and resourceful mindset
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues across the organization, including the ability to simplify complex tax information to non-tax stakeholders
- Experience in handling cross-border transactions and working knowledge of the technology industry would be a huge plus
- Knowledge of data-focused technology tools (e.g. Alteryx) and the ability to handle large datasets would be a bonus
