Technical Advisor (m/f/d) Hamburg

Audemars Piguet is seeking a Technical Advisor for its AP House in Hamburg. This role involves conducting watch inspections, performing minor repairs like strap changes and battery replacements, and managing repair inventory. The advisor will provide first-class customer service, advise on product information, and contribute to CRM data. Candidates need at least 3 years of experience in the watch industry, expertise in luxury and vintage watches, and fluent German and English. Must Have

• Conduct inspections to identify watch problems.
• Perform simple watch interventions (strap changes, adjustments, water resistance, accuracy, battery, time setting).
• Master technical and IT applications for after-sales operations.
• Manage inventory for repairs, including procurement.
• Provide reliable, precise, first-class customer service.
• Advise customers on product information.
• Actively participate in CRM data collection.
• Ensure welcome of after-sales customers.
• Provide technical expertise to the boutique team.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in the watch industry.
• Proven expertise in new luxury and vintage watches.
• Strong customer and service orientation.
• Ability to overcome challenges and be a team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English.

Job Description

For our AP House in Hamburg, we are looking for a Technical Advisor as soon as possible:

Your tasks:

• Conducting inspections to identify problems with watches
• Performing simple interventions such as strap changes or adjustments, checking water resistance and rate accuracy, battery changes and time setting
• Mastering and using the various technical and IT applications related to all after-sales operations
• Managing inventory for repairs including procurement.
• Providing reliable, precise and first-class customer service
• Advising customers on product information
• Active participation in data collection for Customer Relationship Management
• Ensuring the welcome of after-sales customers and all related tasks
• Possible participation in internal and external boutique events
• Providing technical expertise to the boutique team and supporting the expansion of technical knowledge about watches

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the watch industry
• Proof of expertise in new luxury watches as well as old vintage watches and good general knowledge of the watch industry
• You love building relationships and are very customer and service oriented
• You enjoy overcoming challenges and are a true team player
• Very good communication skills
• Experience in stock management is an advantage
• You speak fluent German and English, are an excellent communicator and are characterized by great empathy
