Technical Solutions Executives (TSEs) are integral to the success of Autodesk's Emerging Business for Construction. You will leverage your AECO industry or tech experience to solve customer challenges, engineer value, and drive business growth. As part of the Pre-Sales team, you'll focus on positioning and utilizing the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform. Responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives, managing technical evaluations, and maintaining industry and product knowledge to support digital transformation journeys.
Must have:
  • Partner with Account Executives to support customers and close business.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Channel, and R&D for customer experience.
  • Influence Product Roadmap by demonstrating business impact.
  • Participate in strategic speaking engagements at internal/external events.
  • Participate in mentorship, onboarding, and up-skilling of new hires and team.
  • Discover customer business and technical processes/workflows/requirements.
  • Manage the entire technical evaluation process.
  • Document customer engagements in Salesforce.
  • Maintain comprehensive industry and Autodesk product knowledge and technology trends.
  • Share best practices, competitive information, and innovation with the team.
  • Establish/maintain industry leadership through in-depth knowledge of technologies.
  • Leverage social media networks and tools to build personal and Autodesk brand.
  • 5+ years of experience in the AECO industry and/or AECO technology industry.
  • Good understanding of Autodesk’s design and construction software.
  • General understanding of SaaS technology and software sales and Pre-Sales.
  • Experience leading/managing successful projects/initiatives.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.

Position Overview

Technical Solutions Executives (TSEs) are integral to the success of Autodesk's Emerging Business for Construction. Coming from the AECO industry or having worked in the AECO tech industry, you'll utilise your experience to solve everyday customer challenges, engineering value for them to achieve desired outcomes and solutions, whilst ensuring we're helping "move the needle" as we continue to grow the business. You'll be part of a larger, in-demand and fun-loving Pre-Sales team focused on positioning and utilising the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform to engineer solutions. You'll report into the Technical Solutions Manager, EMEA.

Responsibilities

Collaborative Working

  • Partner with Account Executives (AEs) to support customers with addressing their requirements, whilst focused on closing business to meet/exceed targets and expectations
  • Liaise and collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Channel and R&D to ensure an overall great customer experience, engineering of the best possible solutions and aiming for success for all parties involved
  • Influence Product Roadmap through demonstrating business impact and working closely with relevant parties to prioritise requirements
  • Participates in strategic speaking engagements at internal/external events, working in collaboration with Marketing, Channel and Enablement
  • Participate in mentorship/onboarding/enablement of new hires and overall up-skilling of team in areas of expertise

Value & Solution Engineering

  • Discover customer business and technical processes/workflows/requirements to build "trusted advisor" relationship in supporting customers in their digital transformation journey
  • Manage the entire technical evaluation process, from qualification through to post-sales handover, such as value-focused demos, pilots, RFP submissions, roadmap presentations and customer outcome proposals
  • Document customer engagements in Salesforce, such as quantifiable pain identified in before scenarios, technical decision criteria, metrics, risk and more

Personal & Results Leadership

  • Maintain comprehensive industry and Autodesk product knowledge, technology trends, to provide insight and guidance required to position the value of ACC
  • Share with team any best practices, competitive information, innovation, success stories and lessons learnt
  • Establish/maintain industry leadership through comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of the technologies of their domain, and insight into the industry practices, business processes, applications, and solutions the domain impacts and is impacted upon by the global technology marketplace
  • Leverage social media networks and tools to build personal and Autodesk brand to establish credibility and promote solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the AECO industry and/or AECO technology industry
  • Good understanding of Autodesk’s design and construction software
  • General understanding of SaaS technology and software sales and Pre-Sales
  • Experience leading/managing successful projects/initiatives
  • Motivated, prompt, organised, advanced soft skills
  • Overall genuine person and team player who's forward-thinking and passionate about moving the industry forward
  • Hybrid role with expectations of travel as required
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
