Job Summary

Aera Technology is the Decision Intelligence company. This role focuses on delivering engaging, hands-on training for Aera’s Decision Intelligence Platform to internal teams, customers, and partners. The Technical Trainer conducts sessions, demonstrations, and certification programs, translating complex platform functionality into clear instruction and providing ongoing support. Responsibilities include creating training materials, managing user accounts, and collaborating with instructional designers to ensure proficiency and confidence in using the platform.

Must Have

  • Assist in delivering comprehensive training programs for diverse audiences
  • Conduct instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in-person)
  • Deliver product demonstrations, hands-on labs, and interactive exercises
  • Provide certification training and assess learner competency
  • Create and maintain training materials including demo scripts and training Sandboxes
  • Offer post-training support answering technical questions and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers to test course content and provide feedback
  • Stay current with platform updates, new features, and product roadmap
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, and enrollments
  • Participate in continuous learning to enhance technical knowledge and instructional delivery skills
  • 1-2 years in technical training, software training, or customer enablement roles
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Experience using columnar databases
  • Experience training on enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or technical applications
  • Proven ability delivering training to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn complex software platforms
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for engaging virtual and in-person audiences
  • Proficiency with training delivery tools, screen sharing, and virtual classroom technologies
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly, accessible instruction
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address learner questions and technical challenges
  • Patient and empathetic approach to learners at different skill levels
  • Clear verbal and written communication abilities
  • Enthusiasm and energy for teaching technical content

The Technical Trainer delivers engaging, hands-on training that enables internal teams, customers, and partners to effectively use Aera’s Decision Intelligence Platform. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enablement, this role focuses on conducting technical training sessions, demonstrations, and certification programs that build proficiency and confidence. Technical Trainers translate complex platform functionality into clear, actionable instruction while providing ongoing support to learners.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Manager, Enablement in delivering comprehensive training programs for diverse audiences
  • Conduct instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in-person) on Aera platform features, workflows, and best practices
  • Deliver product demonstrations, hands-on labs, and interactive exercises that reinforce learning
  • Provide certification training and assess learner competency through practical evaluations
  • Create and maintain training materials including demo scripts and training Sandboxes
  • Offer post-training support answering technical questions and troubleshooting user challenges
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers to test course content and provide feedback on technical accuracy
  • Stay current with platform updates, new features, and product roadmap to keep training content relevant
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, and enrollments ensuring proper access controls
  • Participate in continuous learning to enhance technical knowledge and instructional delivery skills

OKR's (Objectives and Key Results)

  • Achieve 90% certification pass rates for technical training programs
  • Maintain platform knowledge proficiency through quarterly assessments
  • Reduce post-training support tickets through effective instruction

About You

  • 1-2 years in technical training, software training, or customer enablement roles
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Experience using columnar databases
  • Experience training on enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or technical applications
  • Proven ability delivering training to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn complex software platforms
