Job Summary

Eden Games is seeking a Tools Programmer Intern to join their Tech development team. The intern will participate in improving existing tools and creating new ones using Unity programming standards (UXML, Binding System), developing a Unity window for tools with ergonomic features, and linking tools to the JIRA API for user feedback. The role involves all development stages from conception to user follow-up. Candidates should be programming students, passionate about video games, rigorous, organized, proactive, versatile, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficient in C# and Unity.

Must Have

Tools Programmer Internship - Unity (M/F/NB)

Internship Description

Are you passionate about video games and technology? This internship will interest you.

Within the Tech development team, composed of experienced developers, you will participate in improving the tools used for our various projects by working on the following tasks:

  • Refactoring existing tools with new Unity programming standards (UXML, Binding System).
  • Creating a Unity window grouping all our tools, accompanied by ergonomic features (link to documentation, icon, sorting, filtering, etc.).
  • Creating a link between our tools and the JIRA API to facilitate user feedback.

For all these tasks, you will be involved in all stages of development, from design to user follow-up with team members.

Profile Sought

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in programming.
  • You are passionate about video games.
  • You are rigorous, organized, proactive, versatile, and possess strong interpersonal skills and a good team spirit.
  • You have good adaptation and communication skills allowing you to work with all trades.
  • You demonstrate a great capacity for analysis and synthesis.
  • You have a good level in C# and knowledge of Unity.
  • You master technical English.

Would be a plus:

  • Notions of UX and the ability to use software like Figma.

Additional Information

Contract type: 6-month conventional end-of-studies internship available as soon as possible (no work-study or alternating internship possible).

Workplace: Lyon

Compensation: 15% of the hourly social security ceiling + coverage of transport costs (50%) and restaurant tickets (60%) + social and cultural activity benefits.
