Job Description

This internship for undergraduate students focuses on educating, engaging, and exciting the Twitch community. The role involves facilitating administrative needs for community marketing campaigns, supporting new engagement opportunities, and collaborating with various teams on creator discovery and promotion. The intern will also develop communications and public-facing documentation, operate independently to support creators, and understand local creator needs. Key programs include MeetUps and Twitch University, aiming to build meaningful connections and awareness on college campuses.
Good To Have:
  • Experience within the gaming and Content Creator space
  • Deep knowledge of the games industry and games media
  • Familiarity with Twitch as a user and broadcaster
  • Strong existing relationships within the gaming community
  • Experience with event software and planning tools, such as Peoplesoft
Must Have:
  • Facilitates administrative needs within Community Marketing campaigns, encompassing local, national and international marketing initiatives, including MeetUps, Twitch Tours, formal events, and other engagements
  • Helps support new opportunities to engage the Twitch community through the use of brand and content
  • Works closely with Partnerships and Marketing teams on Creator discovery and promotion by maintaining communication with creators during project lifecycles
  • Collaborates closely with Product, Content, Influencer, and Brand Marketing teams, as well as Events to drive a narrative across the creator community, specifically related to project management and organizational needs
  • Develops communications and public-facing documentation for both education and campaign outreach
  • Operates independently and can aid in the support of creators as it pertains to scheduling and coordinating event activities, email marketing campaigns, and creator-centric surveys
  • Collaborates with the Community Marketing team at a local level, with true understanding and support of creator needs
  • BA/BS Graduation Year: Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027. No Masters/PhD
  • Experience with planning creator-focused events or activations, as well as scheduling with multiple participants on a large scale
  • Must be organized, strategic, creative and be able to clearly communicate how plans will impact organizational goals
  • Self-Starter mentality: must be able to effectively work independently and autonomously
  • Interpersonal skills: effectively communicating, building rapport, and relating to others at all levels
  • Capable and managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets

About the Role

\*\*This internship is only for undergraduate students at North American colleges/universities with Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation dates\*\*

This new role will participate in achieving the goals of educating, engaging, and exciting the community. The team will utilize product and brand initiatives to drive education across the community about Twitch’s current and long-term objectives. This role will create touch points within the community through Twitch initiatives, events, and new opportunities. The goal will be to drive messaging to the community and help create the future narrative of Twitch.

This role will have a focus on programs that drive deep, meaningful connections with creators, including but not limited to MeetUps and Twitch University. MeetUps is a way to find other community members based on the local city, success is determined by new city chapters and increased participation. Twitch University is a new program to build awareness for livestreaming on college campuses. Success includes sentiment and inclusion of new College chapters. In this 3-month internship, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for content creators, supporting Discords and digital events, and collaborating with our event team to bring exciting concepts to life. This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes of a major industry event and gain hands-on experience in event management, creator relations, and hospitality.

You Will:
