Job Description

As a Wireless Product Support Engineer, you will deliver advanced technical expertise for wireless patient monitoring systems across healthcare environments. You will lead complex troubleshooting, drive service strategy improvements, and collaborate with global teams to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.
Must Have:
  • Develop and continuously refine product and solution support strategies to enhance reliability and serviceability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert providing advanced (Level 3) escalation and diagnostic support for wireless and networked systems.
  • Partner with R&D, field service, and technical support teams to identify and resolve systemic product issues.
  • Develop and deliver service training and documentation for global field organizations.
  • Champion customer advocacy through proactive issue prevention, communication, and lifecycle support planning.
  • Hold a BS in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  • Have a Biomedical or Hospital IT background or extensive knowledge in healthcare connectivity environments.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment that values innovation and operational excellence.
  • Be able to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA, Bothell, WA or New Kensington, PA.

Your role:

  • Develop and continuously refine product and solution support strategies to enhance reliability and serviceability.

You're the right fit if:

  • You hold a BS in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  • You have a Biomedical or Hospital IT background or extensive knowledge in healthcare connectivity environments.
  • You bring experience with wireless networking (802.11), network troubleshooting, and tools such as Wireshark, Ekahau, NetAlly, and Omnipeek.
  • You hold or are pursuing CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, or CWTS certification (or equivalent).
  • You demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and scripting skills to drive resolution of complex technical issues.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment that values innovation and operational excellence.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in (Cambridge, MA or Bothell, WA is $ 110,880 to $177,408.00.

The pay range for this position in (New Kensington, PA is $99,000 to $158,000.00

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
