We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in our Perth office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days in the office and is offered on a 12-month, maternity contract.

We will count on you to:

• Negotiate and place underwritten workers compensation policies for clients
• Provide expert advice on managed fund policies and offer ad hoc support to employers
• Present confidently to clients, articulating recommendations and strategies effectively
• Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

 

What you need to have:

• Proven experience in workers compensation placement and brokerage
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent critical thinking and negotiation skills
• A client-focused approach with the ability to build rapport and trust

• Experience in presenting complex information clearly and persuasively
• A background in risk management or insurance is advantageous
• Additional qualifications in relevant fields, including allied health or insurance would be advantageous
