Job Summary

As Workplace Services Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Gigamon’s workplace and facilities. Reporting to the Director of Workplace Services, you will manage maintenance work orders, coordinate with vendors and property management, and oversee key workplace projects. This position is central to maintaining a productive, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees, while supporting a variety of business-critical activities and initiatives.
Must Have
- Receive, review, and follow up on maintenance work orders.
- Manage Gigamon’s JIRA ticketing system for workplace service requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and janitorial staff.
- Liaise with property management to uphold high service standards.
- Conduct monthly checks of fire extinguishers, UPS, spill kits, and eye wash stations.
- Maintain and organize online folders with Certificates of Insurance for all vendors.
- Lead planning and execution of general office maintenance, organizational moves, and corporate services activities.
- Perform regular walkthroughs to assess site conditions and ensure vendor quality.
- Communicate effectively and provide direction to contractors and vendors.
- 5+ years of experience in workplace or facilities administration.
- Experience with ticketing systems, preferably JIRA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Proven track record of planning and executing office maintenance, organizational moves, and event setups.
- Experience liaising with property management and external vendors.

This position is central to maintaining a productive, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees, while supporting a variety of business-critical activities and initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Receive, review, and follow up on maintenance work orders, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Manage Gigamon’s JIRA ticketing system for workplace service requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and janitorial staff regarding scheduled maintenance and service calls.
- Liaise with property management to uphold high service standards.
- Conduct monthly checks of fire extinguishers, UPS, spill kits, and eye wash stations.
- Maintain and organize online folders with Certificates of Insurance for all vendors.
- Lead planning and execution of general office maintenance, organizational moves, and corporate services activities, including company and executive meeting setups.
- Perform regular walkthroughs to assess site conditions, identify service issues (janitorial, plants, HVAC, plumbing, etc.), and ensure vendor quality.
- Communicate effectively and provide direction to contractors and vendors performing services for the company.
What you’ve done:
- 5+ years of experience in a dynamic, service-oriented environment, with a strong focus on workplace or facilities administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high productivity in a self-directed work environment.
- Experience with ticketing systems, preferably JIRA, for managing workplace service requests.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Proven track record of planning and executing office maintenance, organizational moves, and event setups.
- Experience liaising with property management and external vendors to ensure service quality.

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role, based out of Gigamon’s Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office, is $112,000 - $140,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to the plan's terms and conditions). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
